Kate Fetherston is a writer, visual artist, singer, and psychotherapist living in Montpelier, Vermont.

Kate's visual art has been shown in Vermont and California and is in private collections throughout the U.S. and Canada. For more information about availability of specific pieces, please contact her on this site.

Kate first book of poetry, Until Nothing More Can Break, was published by Antrim House in 2012. Her poetry and essays has appeared in numerous journals, including North American Review, Hunger Mountain, Nimrod, New Ohio Review, and Third Coast. She co-edited Manthology: Poems on the Male Experience, (University of Iowa) and Open Book: Essays from the Postgraduate Writers’ Conference, (Cambridge Scholars Press). Kate has won grants from the Vermont Council on the Arts and Vermont Studio Center. She's been nominated for a Pushcart Prize every year since 2002. Kate has an MFA in writing from Vermont College.

While not performing at this time, Kate is a singer and musician. She loves cross-pollination between art forms.
